Mr Theophile Elongo
Theophile serves as the Executive Director of ASSIDA. He has 17 years of experiences in working with humanitarian agencies and has worked in 5 countries around the world. Theophile believes that collective efforts can make the world a better place for everyone.

Theresa Martens
Administrator / Secretary
Theresa has completed a Bachelor of International Development studies at Australian Catholic University (ACU). She is a new graduate whom is keen to learn as much as she can about development locally and domestically. She is particularly interested in working with migrants and refugees. At ASSIDA she works as the Administrator/Secretary, through this role she is able to learn about how humanitarian organisations run. She hopes to work with a number of Humanitarian organisations in her future assisting those who are less fortunate than herself.
Pooya Karambakhsh
Policy Officer
Pooya is the Policy Officer at ASSIDA. He has many years of experience in research, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, teaching/lecturing, and academic and professional writing. He has worked as a Project Officer, Research Assistant, Casual Academic, Geotechnical Engineer, and Civil Engineer. Pooya frequently writes on Dianoetic and Think with a Hammer.

Prabhjot Thakran
Case Worker
Prabhjot is a second year university student, studying a Bachelors of Clinical Science. She has volunteered regularly in a community kitchen previously and is also volunteering with St. John's Ambulance. She wishes to be more involved in humanitarian work, by working with organisations such as ASSIDA.
Taylor Baker
Coordinator
Taylor is currently completing her degree in International Relations as well as Development Studies and Culture Change. She aspires to study her Masters in the future in Politics, Public Policy and Development Studies. She has strong interests in the humanitarian and development sector working on community and social development. She believes in local and international efforts to positively build and assist communities taking local perspectives, cultures, customs and opinions as integral to the developmental process.
Anna Wardrop
Media Officer
Anna has completed both a Certificate IV in Design and a Diploma of Graphic Design at Martin College. She is currently developing and strengthening her skills as a Graphic Designer and continues to strive hard to achieve her goals. Anna is always looking for new opportunities and experiences to improve as a graphic designer. Aside from her passion towards graphic design, she is also interested in photography and writing. At ASSIDA, Anna works as a Graphic Designer and predominately in the area of media.
Dhivya Ramdhas

Dhivya Builds state-of-the-art, easy to use, user friendly web sites and applications. She actively seek out new technologies, and is up-to-date on industry trends and advancements. Continued education has allowed her to stay ahead of the curve and deliver exceptional work to each employer. Dhivya has completed a Bachelor of Computer Science Engineering from Dr.Sivanthi Aditanar College of Engineering 2005. With 4 years of hands-on experience she efficiently codes web sites and applications using modern HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Query and AngularJS,
Angela Ussivane
Policy Officer
Angela holds a Masters Degree of Public Health from the University of Western Australia (UWA). She has substantial experience in working in health and social welfare assisting the most disadvantaged groups in society. She is passionate about research and policy development to promote and improve wellbeing of these groups of people. At ASSIDA, she works as Assistant Policy Officer supporting the development, implementation and provision of advice on policies and procedures to secure a regulatory operating environment.
Michael Yup
Trainer
Michael has completed a Bachelor of Actuarial Studies from UNSW and is currently working in the Financial Services Industry. He has previous volunteer experience with the St Vincent de Paul Society and also assisted with the implementation of the African Australian Inclusion Program at NAB where he was the Learning & Development Coordinator. Michael feels very lucky to have grown up in Australia and wants to help those less fortunate than himself.
