Mr Yushua  ASSIDA Member of the Year 2016

My name is Yushua, I am 9 years and I am studying my year 2 at

Cabramatta Public school. I was born in 2010 at Fairfield

hospital in NSW Since my birth until now,  I don’t know shortage

of food in our family, shortage of milk and other needed children

foods.  I enjoy my parents support every single day. I was very

touched when I watched a video brought by ASSIDA`s Director

Mr Theophile from Africa . From the video I learnt the miserable

life of many African children of my age and over. Many of them

have lost parents during the war or either they died from

HIV/AID's. Some of them do not know their parents, they

can`t go to school because there is no one to support them.

Some of them have no chance of life.How come a child of my

age lost all chances of living. Its miserable!.  

I have decided to support the humanitarian work of ASSIDA in

Australia and in Africa. They are doing a good job of assisting

people in need particular children of my age. They foster hope

in their life. Ii is good and it is all about what I learnt from my

teacher that” Compassion is part of Australian values”. I do

strongly like it. I am calling all my Australian family to support

the work of ASSIDA locally and internationally.  I think, through

ASSIDA we can support many migrants and refugees in Australia's well as reaching children victims of war in Africa .
